Look on the front of the steering stem housing for a decal, it may also help with year ID, US bike have the EPA certification label there. Also the muffler(if stock) may have a stamping on the back of it certifing it to a specific year EPA noise limit. Or if you can find a cerb stamped number a dealer or carb specialist should be able to ID what year the carb was. Max
